Dr. Relucio has been the Napa County Health Officer and Public Health Director since July 2015, where she runs a division with 17 different programs, including communicable disease control and prevention, chronic disease prevention, emergency preparedness and programs to serve families and children. Public Health provides support for Live Healthy Napa County, whose goal is to improve the social determinants of health to promote health equity and to build healthier communities. Dr. Relucio also serves as the co-chair of the Napa Opioid Safety Coalition and participates in multiple community collaborative efforts to improve health.

Prior to her time in Napa, Dr. Relucio worked at the San Mateo County Health System for 15 years in the Public Health Division as the Medical Director of Public Health Clinics, Medical Director for Public Health Emergency Preparedness, and Assistant Health Officer. She was also the Chief of Infectious Diseases Division at San Mateo Medical Center. Dr. Relucio completed her medical training at Rush Medical College in 1995, received her residency training in Internal Medicine at Tufts – New England Medical Center in 1998 and completed her Infectious Diseases fellowship at Stanford in 2003. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases.
