Jeni Olsen founded Teens Connect after two Napa teenagers died by suicide in 2016, with a mission to equip teens with tools to manage their anxiety and depression, learn resilience, provide safe places and people with whom to connect, and to give them a voice in their community. Teens Connect partners with school districts and mental health organizations in order to provide a comprehensive community of support for youth.
Known for her trademark combination of empathy, enthusiasm and tenacity, Jeni is able to start conversations, bring people together, and find solutions that contribute to true systemic change. When she finds a little bit of time for herself, Jeni feeds her soul on a hiking or mountain biking trail, in her kayak, reading, or with her family.
